Great Deal on Photo Cards

Any of who know me in real life know that I love to send photo Christmas cards.  I think it comes from the fact of having kids and being so far from family these last few years, so I love any excuse to send out pictures of my kids. 🙂

The point of all of this is that right now through November 22 Snapfish has a code (CARDS30FS) for 30% off and free shipping on photo cards.  Those of you who know me also may know that I hate to pay for shipping.  Lots of times shipping is almost as much as the item I want to buy and I hate that!  So free shipping and 30% was worth checking out for me.

So I went to Ebates and clicked on Snapfish (to get 20% cash back) and started making my Christmas cards.  I went ahead and ordered 80 cards because it is a slightly better price per card and I send out a lot of cards 🙂 So my total came to $64.00 before shipping and tax.  Now for some reason it popped up on my order that there was 20% off of photo cards so that took $12.80 off of my order, I don’t know if that is my account or if that will happen to everyones.  Then after I entered the code CARDS30FS Which took off another $15.36 and then $8.99 off for the shipping so after tax I spent $37.68 for 80 cards!  That is about $0.47 cents per Christmas card which seems pretty good for me to be able to send customized Christmas cards to all of my friends and family.  Keep in mind too that the code doesn’t have to be for Christmas cards, you can make baby announcements or birthday invites, that part is up to you.

Oh and P.S. since I went through Ebates I will be getting another 20% back off of my order so that means I should get another $7 and some change back.  So after that rebate I really on spent about$30.00 for 80 Christmas cards!  Yeah, it made my day 🙂

Walgreens.com Deals for Today 11-05-11

Right now, today only on Walgreens.com you can get 25 free prints (must be 4×6 size) with the code FREE4X6.  You can also get a desk calendar for about $6.41 shipped when you use the code FREEFORU.

I did my prints and calendar in 2 separate orders to make sure I could use both codes.  First head over to Ebates and log in there and then choose Walgreens.  Once you are at the Walgreens website upload or choose the pictures you want then when you have your 25 4×6 prints in your cart go to check out and enter the code FREE4X6 that shoudl take your total to zero.  Than when you get to the shipping portion of the check out make sure you check pick up in store and then your prints are completely FREE!

For the calendar I back through Ebates to get 3.5% cash back, and  uploaded some more prints and arranged them all in the order I wanted and even added a few captions underneath.  Don’t forget to make sure you are creating a desk calendar.  Once you have the calendar the way you like it just go through check out again and enter the code FREEFORU the calendar should be free and you just have to pay shipping, which for me was about $6.41.

Simple, easy, and cheap!  And now I have a another Christmas gift crossed off my list.

Right Where I Need To Be

The other day I was thinking about how I am right where I need to be.  I believe there is a country song that has a line like that, but really for the most part I do believe that I am right where I need to be.

Don’t get me wrong, I would like to be somewhere else, preferably FL :), but I do believe that God has a plan for me and a reason for putting me here.

The last few years have been rough for me, I never thought I would leave FL, I never wanted to leave FL.  I was happy and loved where I lived and loved being right near my family.  Sometime around the beginning of college though, when I started thinking more about marriage and finding the right guy, I began to pray about it.  I had a feeling around this time that I was meant to marry someone in the military or someone with a job that would make us move out of state.  I just felt like I wasn’t always going to be able to live near my family.  (Maybe that was my answer from God)  But it has still been rough, I would love to live near my family again and I hope one day to at least live closer.  Over all though I really do believe that I am right where I need to be and even when I can’ see it, God has a plan.  I just need to remind myself of this every once in a while 🙂

Snow Day!

Today it snowed!!  It was exciting and amazing for me especially since we live in NM and I really never expected it too snow here, at least not much and we got at least 4 inches.  The kids and I had lots of fun playing in the snow, we built a snowman had a bit of a snowball fight, and made some snow ice cream.  It was such a beautiful and fun day.  Here are a few pictures of our fun 🙂

Walgreens Shopping Trip 10-26-11

I made a quick trip to Walgreens today because they are having some pretty good deals on Huggies diapers and wipes and we happen to be out of diapers and wipes.  Walgreens is also having a buy one get one half off sale on Covergirl makeup and I still had a $8 off of any 2 Covergirl make up coupon from a few weeks ago and took advantage of this sale to get some FREE Covergirl eyeenhancers make up with $2.75 overage to go toward my diapers and wipes purchase.  Here is a breakdown of prices and what I spent.

Huggies Wipes 216 ct on sale for $4.99

Huggies Little Movers Slip On Diapers on sale for $8.99 used a $2.00 off coupon

2 Covergirls eye shadows $3.49 each but on sale for BYGO so $5.25 together used a $8.00 off of 2 coupon.

So total after Walgreens savings and coupon savings I spent $10.66, but I saved $18.25!!

I did forget to use my $2.00 RR that I had so I could have saved even more, but I still have another $8 Covergirl coupon and some more Huggies diapers coupon so I will probably end up makeing another trip to Walgreens and saving a bit more money on diapers.

Albertsons Deals and Steals for 10/19 to 10/25

So now that I live in NM I have learned a few things about Albertsons.  I had never really shopped at an Albertsons before moving to NM and honestly I still don’t shop there much now because I do 80% of my grocery shopping on base.  But I have learned to check the deals at Albertsons each week because they do usually have some good stuff going on.  I have also learned that the deals at Albertsons run from Wednesday to Tuesday which is very different and interesting for me.

Anyways though here are what I think are the deals and steals for Albertsons this week.

• Dole Bananas for $0.39 a pound

• Buy 10 Yoplait Yogurt for $5 and get aFREE 12 ct. Albertsons Large Eggs on your next shopping trip.  There is a $1.00 coupon for 10 Yoplait yogurts here on Swagbucks which makes this an even better deal.

• Nestle fun size candy 9.2-12.5 oz on sale for $1.88  Which is even better if you still have some candy coupons around.

• There are also lots of 10 for $10 sales going on right now.  I am seeing some water juice, canned goods and even some toothpaste and Excedrine.  You will want to check your store adds to see the deals, but they look like some good ones.

• One of my favorite deals that I was excited to see was that Albertsons has some energy drinks on sale 10 for $10 as well.  My husband has a Rockstar energy drink addiction and even when I buy them on base which is the cheapest I have found they r still $1.15 each so for a $1.00 each I was thrilled! 🙂  So yes I am going back to by more Rockstars.

MIA

So I have been a little MIA lately, but it is not totally my fault.

You know how life is, and life with kids, and life with allergies….?

Yeah, well all of that happened to me this past weekend, so my family and I slept a lot this weekend and it was nice.

Also, my computer has been acting funny and really slow so that hasn’t helped the whole trying to blog thing, but I think I fixed my computer (or at least made run a little better).  So I am back and I will have more to say tomorrow 🙂
